I have a clogged cat, and I am stuck in Iowa at my parents house. I need to get back to Chicago. There are no parts places open that have a cat for my rx-8. I removed the cat, and I am wondering how bad it is to drive the car back to chicago about 2 and a half hours away. What are the possible dangers, and what are the chances of something happening? or any other possible suggestions?.....

 

also.... does anybody have a good site that I can order an aftermarket converter?
