I am cleaning the filter in my revi tonight and I was wondering if I need to oil the inside of the cone filter also? I searched here and K&N website but I can't find anywhere that says yes or no.

No, you definitely only oil the outside. Dont oil the inside as it will cause all sorts of issues with your maf.

how many miles.... k@n says reoil after 50 k miles...

here is what i did... had it out for a different reason.... dropped it on the floor.... dislogded the bugs and other stuff...

leaf blower to the inside of the filter got the rest out...

i am sure i am wrong some how... but i have been doing oiled filters on dirt bikes and street bikes for years..

I have only have it in 1 year roughly 10,000 miles. It was absolutly filthy.
