Question for Coils.
No need to test them.
when you get high rpm misfires so constant that even changing plugs dont help, its time to replace them.
their life range from 5K miles to 35K. depends on your luck. im dead serious.

thats exactly the problem i am having. RPM keeps jumping around from 1.2k to 7.. sometimes 5 nd back up. i read that thread and i don't really understand how to see if they are good or not.
You need a computer, and a program support the proper data logging.
or do a simple test.
hold your clutch down, Rev ur car like there is no tomorrow and let go, usually, the rpm would "stay" at around 1100+/- rpm for maybe 2-3 seconds before your idle goes to 810. but if it doesnt, its bad.

If the test fails, what is one supposed to do to fix it?
Thats good to know.
Yes sir.
Replace it, I think it cost like 3-400 bux ?

Does the clutch really have to be in if the shifter's in neutral?
