TX Power Steering keeps going out

The car's power steering light will come on occasionally & when it does, the steering is *very* difficult to turn. Sometimes the problem "corrects itself" after the car sits turned off for a while.
Any one had this happen to them or know how to fix without taking the car to the dealer.
Thanks,
J

Fix the connectors by either replacing\tightening them or weld them in place.
This is a common problem, you should have searched

John, right under your airbox and right above your radiator is the PS connector, pull it apart and clean it with electronic duster/cleaner, youll see metal prongs on the inside just clean em up a lil and you should be fine

do all of the above, but i had this issue, under warrantly luckily, and they said my ps unit (i forget the exact term) was shot and they replaced it for free. i think it's kinda pricey, but that may be the end result for you if the above cleanings don't work...
