What socket size is your TPMS nut???

I read the TSB from a long while back, it indicated that it is 11 mm deep socket. So I got a 11 mm deep socket... it did not fit

So I grab a 12 mm standard socket, it fit, but too shallow, so won't work if I install it on the wrench, so I have to go and exchange the 11 mm deep to 12 mm deep.

I am just wondering if everyone had the same issue or is it just me?

 

Give me like 5 min to go out side and check. BRB... Oh and YES you will need a deep socket.

 

OK its an 11mm long or deep what ever you want to call it socket

Thanks for taking your time to verify this for me.

My other guess is that Mazda changed the size at some point of production then during one of the MY refresh... mine is 2008.

I'll take some pictures tomorrow, no enough light in the garage right now so the pictures are all fuzzy.

 

Oh wow! Well I got a 2004 so yeah they may have done that. But yeah. I got my long neck sock set in my trunk. When I was at work I walk out side to check the size. 12mm was to big but the 11mm was dead on.
