Possible to undo N flash

I got the N flash a few weeks ago and I love it, but the Greddy kit only works with M unless custom tuned. I don't see why not, but just wanted to ask a few of those who know for sure, is it possible to go back to the M flash?

Your dealer can do it but it would really take some work..

They would have to "re-ghost" the WDS and take it back to ground zero..

Then load the files to take it only to the level that included the "M" (35.5)

You are talking about 6 hours of disc's and then they would need to re-install the 37.0 disc followed by the .1,.2,.3,.4, then five patches.

My old dealer still is using the M level on their WDS machine though. So it would be a simple 10 min procedure if I go there right?

That is truly sad...do you live on the moon?

If they are still on the 35 level it will search and find no updates so it will not take the car backwards..

Wow, so this is quite the problem then. Damnit I should have stuck with M. Anyone have any ideas on how I can still use the Greddy kit now that I have this N flash. Greddy said their kit is definitly not compatible with it.

Wow is right!

It seems someone needs to update the Greddy maps. Glad I stayed NA The days of tuning Detroit muscle are long gone for us now.

I called my local dyno shop. They estimate it will cost $400 to dyno tune the Greddy turbo for the N flash. There's gotta be another way!

I called them today and unfortunately it was news to them that Mazda is releasing new flashes. They didn't seem like they planned on resolving this anytime soon. They said in a few months they should have some answers. Very discouraging!

I really would like to stay on the N flash, I think the car is so much more enjoyable to drive with it then with the M flash!
