Using TSB's
Can we print out the TSB's and take them to the dealership as proof and to speed things up? I printed one out, and at the bottom it says "No part of this bulletin may be reproduced in any form or by any means, electronic or mechanical--including photocopying and recording and the use of any kind of information storage and retrieval system--without permission in writing." I just don't want to hand it to the service guy, and him get mad and tell me that I am not supposed to have that.

I brought a couple in to my dealer and the asst. service manager thanked me. They have to worry about lots and lots of makes, models, model years, and I'm only keeping an eye one one, so it's easier for me. Whether your dealer will appreciate it, it's tough to say.

I brought in copies of the TSBs that I thought applied to my car.. 4 or the 5 did.. the service manager was first very hesitant about this.. (I suspect they see a lot of customer come in and demand TSB service w/o actually experiencing the problem..) after a couple of minutes talking to him, he relaxed and took care of everything and thanked me for having the TSBs since it sped up the process of ordering parts.
All in all, take the TSBs.. don't demand something just because there is a TSB against it... and it'll all work out.
