pcv valve

I was looking at the vacuum wiring diagram under the hood of the 8 and it shows a pcv valve. I didnt think the 8 had a pcv valve! Does anyone know where this is located? thanks.

There is a vastly different crankcase ventilation system in the 2006's. There is a one way valve where the system vents into the manifold. The breather goes from the vent by the oil fill tube to the vacuum ports on the passenger side of the engine. The vent from the TB end goes to the manifold by the oil filter...

Well the one that I have is a 2005. If anyone has a 05 you can see it on the diagram under the hood. So the 06's are different from my 05?

Where did you get the diagram from? Could you show me?

My understanding is that valve has only come in the 2006 model?

less "milky stuff on the dipstick" threads on the forum is the major benefit to me and my sanity. the othe rbnefit to the 8 owners is less or no oil getting into the intake accordian tube and screwing around with the MAF among other things

Can you post a pic please??? I can't seem to find much info on the lcv valve anywhere. my intake is full of oil and it gets sucked in at high rpms which initially made me think I had a blown oil seal. If I much out and fix it by repair/replace on the pcv it would be amazing but Im new, had the car two days and don't know what I'm looking for.
