just painted my friends caliper. make sure you clean the caliper thoroughly with brake cleaner. and paint it so that it doesnt touch the disc or pads. good luck

You probably dont have to disconnect anything but the wheel. Left mine in tact and used a small brush and testors model paint. Dried fast and dont have to worry about parts sticking together when i have to change the brakes.

You dont' need to remove the calipers!
-Get some wire coat hangers, loosen the calipers and then 'hang' the calipers from your springs. (they are quite heavy, not fun to hold them while you paint)
-Once you paint the front of it, go onto the next caliper. By the time you go around your car, the first caliper will be ready to flip around and paint the back. I know no one will see the back, but you get the idea
-If you buy the Pep Boys brake caliper Kit, buy better brushes...trust me on this, those brushes won't last through the whole process.
-Have fun, good luck.
