Question Oil Gauge

Hello all,

I was reading in the manual that the oil gauge should be in the center, mine happens to be 2 notches above that.

Normal or am I crazy for caring?

Thank you all

Normal level is 2 ticks above the middle.

crazy for caring- the guage is an "idiot light". its for oil pressure and when it's up its saying there is pressure and when it's down(the position it is in when the car is off) it's saying there is no pressure. it's either on or off.

Yeah, it's set by the computer, not by a pressure sender. Think of it as a fancy looking idiot light......the reading will never vary. Unless you have a serious problem that is!!

Well good

I will not worry about that being 2 notches up.

Figured I would let the dealership do a complete diagnostics when I get my oil changed I only have 644 miles on it. I got the total care package 100K same as manufactures warranty. The dealers here in Palm Beach aim to please.

Thanks all
