Exclamation Oil Filling

Hey, my 8 gave me the oil light tonight,so I checked the level and it's indeed low, now last owner have used Idemitsu Rotary Oil 10W30 and just like 2 month ago I put in the last quart. Problem is I forgot to order more from Mazdatrix since I don't use the car that much.since I don't have any tools in order to change the oil, would it be possible to just refill with 10W30 Fully Synthetic Royal Purple or will the blend mess my engine up?
I'm planning to use it just for like 100 miles and then I'm gonna drain the whole thing and switch permanently to Royal Purple. Or should I just drain the whole thing and put a new oil, Is there any recommended place to the oil changing? Thanks.

Top it off with any brand or type, as long as it meets the API spec in the owner's manual and is a viscosity you have faith in.

Like ken saids, any oil that meets API SL grade or later would be fine

And no matter what grade u use, it wilk work. U can mix 5w20 with 20w50

For the price of royal purple, i rather get amsoil or redline or mobil1 0w40, sometimes i feel a bit sick of rp's claim,i mean they make good oil and amsoil makes a lot of claim too ...

Then get any oil with a weight of 30 as the 2nd number. The first one is cold, the 2nd one is warm, your car runs mostly under the warm viscosity.

All oils mix with all other oils completely. This really isn't as big of a deal as you are making it out to be.
