Which oil? 5w30 or 10w40?

Which is the best oil for my European Mazda Rx-8 231cv manual gear.

Where do you live? We use 20w50 here in Sing, but it's bloody hot

Northern or southern? If Northern, the 5w30, if southern the 10w40. I'm envious, would love to cruise around Tuscany with my 8

Ciao dude! North Italy is superb, so go with the oil that fits your market, like 5w30, will take care of your 8 in the summer and the winter

Ah, Milano. I'm sad to say I've never visited your fair city. Someone told me there's a fairly good opera house.

How's the food? Would I have to zoom up to Switzerland for a decent meal?

30w10? Do you mean SAE 30? Your specs are 30 weight at cold temps and 10 weight at high temps. Due to the excessive heat in Sing, 10 weight at high temps is too thin for our 8's, should up to 40 or 50.
