Yup, It is called the HVAC Control Unit or Heater Control Unit. Part Number: FE01-61-190. Happened to me too. If she still has bumper to bumper then try to get them to replace it under warranty. If not it is still an easy fix, but costs about 240-250 dollars.

Also Part numbers for the Temp control dial is FE62-61-195 and Fan control is FE61-61-195. Not sure if those part numbers are for the actual controls though or are just for the plastic dial itself.

Hope that helps.

Hey guys been reading the posts but cant seem to find anybody with the exact same problem as mine.
This started about a month ago, and I really didnt think it was a big problem at first but, heres some info of my car. My air conditioner goes on and off many times, like yalls, a min or two between on and off, and every time the compressor clutch engages you can feel the car loses power for a split second and at night you can tell the headlight dims for a sec, which I guess is normal and everybody experiences. The car is a 07, no problem yet, only mod done is a sound system.

And heres my problem.

Its snowing here and I dont use A/C for cold air right now so I cant tell if im blowing cold air but by turning the "defog windshield button" ( not exactly sure what to call) it will automatically turn the A/C on regardless of cold hot, which really helps with the condensation on the windows.

But recently the A/C will "not" turn on and I'm left driving with a foggy window wiping it with my hand, yes air is shooting at the windshield but it doesnt help without the A/C. The dial buttons all seem to work fine and they light up when pressed but you can tell the A/C isn't working under the hood. and if you leave the switch on the A/C will turn "on" every now and then for a sec and shuts off immediatly.

I've tested a couple combinations of pressing the A/C button, Defog button, recirculate button, hot cold, etc. every thing works except A/C compressor will not turn on nor the evaporater fan(the really loud one) and even if it does turn on its for a split second and shut off.
So Im guessing its not the fuse, not the buttons on the dial, and its something with the relay or some safety is preventing the A/C from turning on.
I tried the A/C reset thing posted here and the lights flashed like explained but it didnt fix the problem. Any idea? is there some safety feature for the a/c?

I just installed a sound system about a month ago, and i'm wondering if this has anything to do with it. but the only thing i touched climate wise is unplug the 2 connectors at the back of the dial buttons.
Another problem that started around the same time is with the keyless entery. It has little or no range and I have to press the button right beside the door inorder to unlock or open the trunk, I tried the spare key that I never used but with same results no range at all.

Thanks
