Smile Non Mazda mechanic stated flooded spark plugs?

NOTE TO SELF: When starting my wife's 2005 RX8, under no circumstance will I release the key too soon before starting. Cause when I had done so, I immediately tried to start the car.. and tried again, and again.... then she came outside (carrying one of my golf clubs cause SHE SAID she was reorganising the closet, and im thinkin ****, i did somethn wrong to her baby).. car wouldnt start. I took it to a reputable shop that works on late and early model cars, but she stated she's never seen any Rotary's there... so after she gave me the 1hr lecture about how its not an ordinary car,,, but a Rotary, she had me to watch a video on how the engine works, and even where the spark plugs go.... cause after the $200 or so that came out of My paycheck to fix the car, i promised her that i would get onto an RX8 forum and place a Note To Self so others would see my mistake

You should feel sad that your wife knows better than you.

But your wife doesnt know that much either, cuz she didnt get the car to get some proper maintenance, nor update to the newest flash, which fixes the ignition timming and fuel delivery at startup which fixed the issue.

I just finally got my wife to rev to 3k when shutting down cold. Unfortunately she likes to rev closer to 6k... She also grinds second... Only allowed to touch my car as part of the zombie plan now.
