Well I just got back from my dealership. Went in with a check engine light on. Came out with a reflash?? The check engine light is off for now, but I had no idea there was a reflash out? I was on the latest one from the previous recall. Anyone have any ideas?

on my receipt it says: performed tsb 01-007-05
reprogrammed pcm XX815XRX .4

 

There dosn't seam to be any new Service Bulletins.

Probably just a reflash.

ahh ok. so Im guessing my car wasn't really reflashed when they did the recall?? That isn't good to hear........ I wonder what else wasn't done from that recall -_-

You are correct,if your PCM was reflashed with recall it would have included what they claim to have done now!

 

grrrrrrrreat........ this sucks. does anyone know if there are pics of the heat shields and whatnot from the recall on the forum? I just searched but didnt see anything. Im gonna check to make sure myself.

 

Yes there are pictures,see the reference in post#2 above.
However what is more scary is that your dealership did not perform Recall #4206F which would include ALL previous flashes.I suggest you ask your dealer if that recall has been performed on your car.If it was performed then then the tsb 01-007-05 would have been done at that time and the invoice they gave you is nonsense.
