My Keyless Entry System Stopped Working!!

Earlier today it was working fine. I hopped in the car and headed out. And when i got back home i decided to just lock the doors from the inside so i could just put my keys in my pocket and pick up the stuff out of my car cause my hands were going to be filled with too much stuff to try to press the alarm. and when i went to get back in my car the doors wouldnt unlock. i bought a new battery and still no good. And yes the alarm still works

Mine did the same thing and somehow the 2 pieces holding the transmitter together had come apart at the bottom. I snapped them back together and presto!

Good luck!

Thats why I never really believe in keyless entry start system.

my father's CX-7, I think it was last week or 2 weeks ago. I was driving it around the downtown area, then at stop light, all of sudden the key not detected alarm went off. it happens only if the engine started and I left the car without the key. I was like WTF ? then I shut it off. after that the car refuse to start ! cuz it did not detect the key, and I was in the middle of the road !!!!

mad embarrassing that time.

after about a minute, it magically work again. so I just hurry the hell up and left. no problems ever since.

so it could be some kind of Mazda's system issue, or might have something to do with the key's design? I dunno. at least now I know that its not a CX-7 only thing.
