If the damage is due to operator error, then that may be deducted from the buyback. However, it may still be worth it to have a car that's never been taken apart. On the other hand, is it too late to pin some responsibility on the service station for overfilling?

 

I had the same stupid problem, I bet is some faulty valve, because I never top off my car and right now it's been in service for two weeks. The biggest problem is not replacing the part, as the matter of fact some dealers have it in stock, but because your charcoal canister got flooded with fuel it needs to be replace, and that my brother has to be ordered straight from JAPAN, that's about a week wait right there.
