how many of you have had oilpans?
im curioius how many of you guys have had oilpans replaced here in the us?my dealer keeps telling me that there is still no release date for the pan yet but i keep reading that pans are being replaced along with a ecu update regaurding the oillight.if anyone has had one replaced recently could you please give me a part # so next time i can go in armed,thanks for any info.

We have two RX-8s. We have had the oil pan changed on one. Problem happened at approximately 2450 miles. It has a lower VIN that the 8 with no light issues. Since the change, approx 1500 miles, we have not had any oil light problems. However, as the oil level goes down, it may happen again so we are watching it.
