When I stop the car you can feel little bit shaky on the gear ****(basically gear is little bit shaky). does that mean there is problem with my trans? its manual trans and car is on its 60k miles right now. it runs good.
any clue or any suggest?

^Mine has been doing that for the past 5k miles (it has 70k now and is a mt). No idea what the problem is just subscribing to the thread in case someone else does

Are you talking about just shifter shake? or like the entire car feels like it does when you stall it very slowly. My whole car vibrates when stoped at idle sometimes. I've noticed it when stopped on a hill facing up... could just be my mind noticing it more when I am on a hill...

Either way, I'm interested.

Shifter shakes when my car is stopped too. While stopped, I sometimes move my hand to the nearby hand brake to avoid the shaking shifter.

 

oh, thats what you're talking about. Shifter shakes in all standard cars. My friend's dad has a viper and the thing jumps around like crazy.

 

If your whole car shakes my guess is that it may be misfiring, putting more stress on worn engine mounts therefore increasing unwanted NHV. When was the last time you changed the plugs, coils, or cables on the car? Someone chime in...
