Motor mounts

I'm a bit confused. On race roots website they have a solid motor mount set.

RX-8 Motor Mount Set - Chassis Bracing - RX8 - Mazda - Products

I just want to be sure before I order what it actually is. Now megan racing has a set of mounts.

Megan Racing

Does the race roots mount replace the factory rubber mounts the same as the megan does or is it used with them?

I don't understand the design of this as it looks more like a bracket to the mount then the actual mount itself.

Just fill them in yourself. It's quite easy, and will quite literally save you hundreds of dollars. Tubes of urethane are less than $25 from auto parts stores. It took me a few hours to get them out, and filled. Wait over the weekend, and put them back in Sunday all nice and cured. Great mod for a great price!

I've done it before, with mounts for one of my front wheel drives. I heard the liquid is better for the mounts in the 8.

BUT Is there a certain point with our mounts where they are just shot out and can not be filled?
For example Honda mounts rip to a point where its better to just get new mounts and fill them.

I would say no? There is plastic valving or something inside, for the oil. Filling it with urethane would keep everything nice and happy.
