Ive been feeling/thinking my cars a bit down on power for a couple of months now. It runs fine it just feels like im missing some power all over the rpm-range.

I just drove against a friend yesterday in a 05 bmw320cd(150hp) and i couldn't loose him, a tiny bit ahead in the start but then pretty much simmillar. Would this be a normal outcome? I know his got more nm but i should probably pull more away in the beginning.

Anyone has some input on this? Its the standard power 192hp.

 

Your car is not exactly a 'road-burner' with that engine, and the 320 coupe is very fast, for a diesel.....so it is about even.

jeh but 0-60times are quite different on these two cars so I should get a bigger gap at the start..

what could be the problem behind lower power?
