loud rattling

I have this problem with my car. When I start it up in the morning there's a loud rattling noise from under the car, until it idles. Anyone else with this problem? Please help...

probably an exhaust hanger banging against something until the idle smooths out when it is warmed up.

I just noticed it briefly on mine this morning but it only lasted a minute or so. Please post when you find out what it was. Mine was a real rapid rattling sound. I haven't ahd the damper recall done yet, maybe that is it.

This could be the exhaust heat shield problem Mazda recently released a recall on. Check the TSB thread, or do a search on this forum for recall.
