Have the dealer check it. The CEL can be from 1000 different things. Also you stated it happened after you got subs, did you put them in? How are they hooked up? Does the car seem to be running right?
Just have it checked by the dealer.

You stated that your CEL came on after you installed subs. Your subs could be pulling too much current from the system and causing a low volatge fault. Does it do it when your only when your system is on? Could you have accidentally grounded something that shouldn't have been? I wouldnt drive around to long with a CEL that stays lit. Have Mazda check it out.

I am an old fart and not so familiar with the latest trends, are subs speakers? Does the name imply powered sub-woofers?
If these are being supplied power from the vehicle then obviously the cause of your MIL (CEL) is current drain by the woofers being mistaken for a fault.
However, the audio has its own diagnostics, independent of the MIL. Which makes me wonder where the heck you took your power feed for the subs from? Where ever it is, change it to a direct feed from the battery. Start the engine and stop it again 3 times after you have rewired it (when hot, otherwise you will flood it) to clear the MIL. If the trouble code is a major (OBD) one it will stay in the PCM memory and will have to be erased by the dealer.
