Long cranking on cold start

I never had any issues with this until my wife flooded the engine moving the car one day, ever since then, the spark plugs were replaced by mazda, (roadside assistance) but lately here in germany ive had alot of what seems excessively long cranking on the cold start, im concerned i might wear out my starter with the warranty work not avaliable here in europe on my us spec car.

I am pretty sure there was a recall for spark plugs and starter at least here in the states. When I flooded my car they replaced my spark plugs and put in an upgraded starter.
