Can anyone help me locate the location of the wire for the VSS...I have found it for the auto but can't find location for 6 speed manual?? can someone please help....Thanks..

 

green with red stripe, radio harness, which is convienent, as the only 2 things you would need that for are either a turbo timer or a nav system

 

?? The M/T doesn't have a VSS. It has speed sensors on each of the wheels that feed the Bosch stability system.
The auto has an output shaft speed sensor.

 

well, i got that info from directechs, which is directed electronicsl dealer site. i also visually verified that there is a green/red wire a behind the radio.

 

You are right! There is a green/red wire that extends from the ABS control module to the radio, the navigation system and the headlamp auto leveling system.

Now I need to go scope that and see what actually goes down that wire.
