For my situation, I'm not trying to save any weight, 20 pounds on 3000 is not a big deal. I am only completely lost with all those batteries and I read on some other forums that many experienced liquid flowed so I tought about a dry cell battery.

most of the forum people, including this forum, knows absolutely NOTHING about their car(or the technology/equipment in there )

Lead Acid battery is fine for most people, get one of the maintenance free type and you will be good for at least 3 years, get one from AAP for around 70 bux, and u are good.

With the combo I have had no problems ever starting, if it is -22 and no light dimming with bass.
It is a bit more work and $ than most want to deal with.
...and yes I would do it again.
