Leaving for a year need storage advice

I will be leaving for iraq on Jan 4th. for a round 11 1/2 months.

What preperations should i make to my 8 to insure safe storage.

I'm sure others will expand on these suggestions but for a start I'd suggest following these suggestions. In addition get it up off the wheels and on jackstands.

keep your head low man and be careful. also you might want to call your insurance company to probably keep it the coverage to a minimum since the 8 will be in storage.

Jack stands, disconnect battery, put fuel stabilizer in the tank at least 1/2 a tank before you stop driving it (and before you fill up), leave windows cracked if garaged, and GARAGE it.
