keyless entry receiver location?

Can anybody tell me where I can find the keyless entry receiver? My Keyless entry stopped working all of a sudden. I've replaced the battery but still no luck, and I only have one key fob.
I read in this post here where the receiver simply needed to be plugged back in so Im hoping Im so lucky.

Thanks in advance.

Make sure your trunk and hood are securely shut.

Thats one of the tips too, see if theres any jammed switch somewhere.

You dont really have to take the glove box out. but it will be easier if you do (bullshit)

Its easy, takes less than 30 seconds.

Yep, my fob was dead.
Found someone selling a new fob on ebay and he happened to live a few miles from me so I picked it up last night. Programmed it myself in about 30 seconds and it works perfectly now. Made my day!

Where exactly is the receiver? I'm looking behind the glovebox, but I see nothing unplugged. Should I be looking below the dash, or should I open the glovebox and look behind it? Neither of my fobs work, and I can't seem to get the car to go into programming mode at all. I've opened and closed the trunk and hood several times, and yet still no luck.

Not sure if you found what you are looking for or not, but the receiver is up and center from the glove box, left of the airbag assembly. If you remove the glove box, unplug and unbolt (two bolts) the airbag and pop it forward, the receiver is under the dash, just left of where the airbag assembly was.

(By airbag assembly, I mean the entire part of the dash that holds the airbag. It comes out easily.)
