ok guys i'm no fuel engineer or scientist can someone please dumb down this stuff a lil bit. like the premix thread i read one page and was so lost. and should i run synthetic or not i'm confused on all this stuff someone that can simplify this please help me i'm going bonkers

ok thanks expo what would you recommend for premixing and idk what kind of oil has been used in it as i've said this is one week for having my 8 and i dont get to c it or my gf for another 3 weeks. (truck driving sucks but pay is good)
I spoke to a rotary shop in Dallas and they dont recommend to premix and they run 10w-30 full synthetic in all their cars including racers. They said the engine lubricates itself well enough.

You should premix a "series I" (2008 and prior) since the oil metering doesn't adequately lubricate the rotor apex seals and can therefore lead to loss of compression over time. MSP16 ECU flash did increase the oil metering output (as does a CobbAP MM tune), but the series I has only 2 oil injectors, whereas the series II has three.
Idemitsu added per tankful of gas, 4-8 oz depending on driving style and performance mod's.
5w-30 Castrol GTX in my cooler clime.

I also was reading through the premixing thread. Jumped around when i got to page 30 something. I saw a lot of mentions of adding a cleaner additive along with the premix oil.
Since i think page 40 something is probably pretty old by now, is there other additives a "premixer" needs to add to keep the carbon down? Or has the Idemitsu formula change and they have cleaner in it? (They say "Special detergent/dispersant additives keep you fuel injectors clean to reduce maintenance. ")

just got my 2005AT 8 in sept. 09. all the posts about premix were conflicting so I thought I would ask the "experts?" maybe right or wrong. So why should we premix then?
