Hi,
I will have to change all the ignition coils (engine light on).
BEcause here in Cyprus were i live the 4 coils could cost about $200 i decided to be a little patient and order them from the US.

Anw, my mechanic told me that it would be better if we change the Sparks as well.
I have 30,000km on my 8 now.

Is it better to buy them now or should i wait?

do it at the same time. just make sure you order the revised coils from onlinemazdaparts.com (see forum sponsor) they run $25US a coil. Make sure you also have the latest plugs as well, which they carry.

Yeah I agree with that. I have just had my plugs changed at 20,000k and they were oil soaked badly. The guy who changed them said to get plugs changed every 20,000k and at the same time get the throttle body clean as well.

I just ordered a set of 4 ignition coils and a set of sparks.
I hope my car will survive until i got them on my hand.

I guess that the change will help the consumption. The last month i abserved that i got very low mpg.

WOWWW!!!
I wouldn't expect so much difference!
First of all i got at least 15% better MPG (same driving habits)
The car so much resposive especially on low RPM.
With just renewing sparks and coils (everything is stock).
Every 10k km certainly i will clean my sparks!
