Dealer installed DSC?

I bought a Base 2006 RX-8 Several months ago and I was wondering if it would be possible to install DSC. It wasn't available on the base model and I think it might be a good idea for me to have it.

Plus you wouldn't get the decrease in your insurance premiums. The car having DSC or not is contained in the VIN. In case that was the reason you wanted it.

I don't really care about insurance premium decrease. I would just feel more comfortable when it's wet out.

2009? all cars are suppose to get DSC in some shape or form. I feel your pain though, Mazda could have made a nice amount of money by making things available like navigation and DSC after the fact. I want navigation now but looks like i'll be putting it in myself when I find the parts.

heh. It's easier to replace your engine and transmission than install the OEM navigation system.

H8SUVS, why don't you just get a really nice pair of tires that fit your environment.. I switched to 245's with oem wheels all around on... Goodyear F1 GS-D3, and DSC became practically worthless because my 8 gets traction as soon as I let go of the gas.
