The stickers go on the underside of the hood. Dealers rarely open the PCM box. When they flash the car they do so via the OBDII port under the dash. Just use the brake pedal pulsing technique to cause meter sweep. If it doesn't, next time you're in the dealer request the "M" flash.

Another thread suggested that the M Flash needed 30 presses instead of 20, perhaps to differentiate b/t M and previous flashes. Seems logical. Worth a try. I haven't gotten the M flash yet, and haven't tried the 20 press, so I can't really verify.

I got the M Flash last friday and it works with 20-21 presses. If it doesn't work you probably don't have it. My car has an August build date and had never been flashed before.

You can't rely on the sticker under the hood. My dealer did the reflash (i verified with the brake pedal check) but they didnt put a sticker under the hood. I haven't open the ECU box but it doesnt appear to have been opened just from a visual inspection. (no fingerprints, marks, etc)
