Use a longer lever (like a 6feet one) or an impact gun.

im trying the impact gun next.. I had a 1inch drive on the flywheel nut(a pretty long one) And a 1/2 inch drive on the pulley bolt (technically a breaker bar because it was huge as well)

You need a flywheel stopper and the bolt is on with 350 ft. lbs.

my usual way is to go "hey change this flywheel" to someone else. then i sit and have a beer or a donut while they break their knuckles instead of me.

I have a gear reduction tool that I bought back in the 80's from a company that isn't around anymore. Ya, I guess that doesn't help you much. I seem to remember Mazdatrix has tools to help with that.

You can get the flywheel nut off with an impact wrench and not have to hold the eshaft pulley.

I went to sears and bought a 3/4 inch breaker bar and socket...and then I made a bracket that mounted with the clutch bolts and would hit the body of the car.

Basically it's a T anyways I then stuck both feet on it and grabbed a hold of the car and if finally broke loose

After getting the nut off some will tell you...you got to have a puller or heat or something and it's all a lie.

Just grab a small hammer and stop off tapping it lightly to a little harder each time and it will pop right off without hardly any force.

I used a huge impact gun on the nut and got it off no problem... and after trying to "pull" the flywheel off with universal pullers i hit it 3 times with a big hammer and it came right off!

me and shadycrew used a long 3/4" breaker bar, but it still wasn't enough torque. So i added a long PVC pipe onto the breaker bar and that was enough torque to break the flywheel nut. Then with the flywheel nut loosely threaded in (about 3-4 threads) we used a deadblow hammer to knock the sucker off.

Now i have an impact so we'll use that to put it on.
