Jack up car,

Remove 2nd jack
Put on tire
Lower car
Move to next corner.

That's pretty much how I did mine.
I had a friend who is a mazda tech put my Tein S-techs on today. And damn. The ride height didn't seem to change one bit. Disappointed majorly.

Now I'm reading about preloading these things. Wouldn't you think a mazda technician would know to do this?

I'm gonna call him tomorrow about it. Maybe run by and have the shop do it. If not, I'm going to follow your clear instructions and do it myself. Thanks for posting!!

Guys....this is not "preloading"..it Is making sure the bushings are not twisted into a bad position by tightening them with the suspension in droop. When you tighten the control Arm bushing bolts the suspension arms need to be at the same level that they sit at when the car is sitting on the ground

WOW ....did you happen to read the post above yours

If they were done wrong in the top pictures...the bushing was twisted holding the car up with the twist.....

If the bottom one was done wrong the other way then you could have twist holding them down

the trick is to tighten the control arm bushing bolts when the car is sitting on the ground..then the bushings are neutral when the suspension is neutral..then you have it done correctly

Ride height has nothing to do with it.............

Thank you! It never ceases to amaze me the amount of BS and inaccurate terminology used in these forums.

So the control arm olt on both sides needs loosened? and how much just a couple turns? Will the weight of the car be enough? and is it safe to drive around with it loosened? I saw a couple people say to hit speed bumps with it loosened.

Changed my OEM springs to Racing Beat about year ago, but haven't preloaded them, so... is it worth to do it now or it won't change anything?

This is all that's needed, there is no number that describes how much.

For sure. Some people mention having to drive around with the bolts only hand tightened. Is that even safe?
