Nah, I called myself ignorant. Thanks for the info on the scan gauge. Maybe once I get my stereo system in and move onto the car computer idea again I'll figure out a way to wire it to the OBDII port.

I live in Phoenix AZ as well and the heat has not been an issue with my car. Even on hot days (115+) I drove the car hard during Summer with no cooling problems. I believe the water temp reached about 215 on the hottest days.

I'm hardly evil enough to heat things up...it usually takes a few drinks first...heh

I assume that you have a gauge so your sure of the water temp? If you relying on the stock "gauge" then your a candidate for a new engine. Talk to other Phoenix residents like Easy_1, Mazda Maniac and 09 Factor. Be sure and tell them you don't need extra cooling.

It's actually rather amazing to calculate exactly how much ego I have when you add in all the alter-egos from all the personalities...on top of the one I have...heh

yes, but we usually fly. I've been here for almost 2 years. -35 degrees C (-31 F)at least a couple of times. Of course it can get up to only +30 (86 F) but she can still have the fan running after shut down.
My coworker/friend has a Colbalt SS and he loves those early morning runs on the highway, with his turbo loving the cool damp air. Anyways, sorry for jacking the thread.
