look on the back....just in front of the engine lift hook.......that's where mine went?? Dunno.

Coil packs are on the other side...and so is the condenser

Yeah, that is the wrong place. The plate does extend towards the engine hook, so I don't know if the bolt you are talking about is attached to the same piece of metal.
If you trace the wires, they go to the bolt in the pictures above.

They are attached to the same bracket.....I could have sworn that they went to the other bolt. There are 4 wires on it...behind the condenser wiring. I've put a 4GA grounding wire on both of those connectors anyway...and 14GA from the coil grounds straight to the battery.

Where can I get a new set of the plastic watertight connectors for the coils?

Good question. HKS has them on there connector for the DLI...so they are available. I have looked all over. Probably need to order them from an OEM supplier...that takes connections, cause they usually want to sell them in huge lots...ie 10,000 or more at a time.

If you find them...I'm sure there are a lot of us that would be interested, so you could offload quite a few

excuse me for my n00bness but all the coil packs are the same right? there is no need to differentiate between a leading and trailing coil pack correct?

im confused b/c the coil packs i ordered are all the same part #, but then on the back of them two of them have the numbers '1 1' and two have the numbers '1 4'.
on my old coils three of them had the numbers '1 1' and one had the numbers '1 3'.

i just installed the new coils last night and cleaned out the k&n drop in. car is running much better.....less bogging at low rpm's and feels like the car is running alot better in the high rpm range as well. however.......just as i feared after a high rpm run I STILL GOT THE FLASHING CEL OF DEATH!!!!!! on a side i note i got the flashing cel alot less than i was getting it before......but its still bugs me so much i guess the next step is plug wires and new plugs but i feel like thats not the answer.

They're all the same. you just have to be sure that you plug it back in the right order.

change your plugs first, but if u have the cash u can buy a set of *good* aftermarket wires for 60-100, dont buy nology wires tho.
