Unhappy Hoping this is a cracked hose or something small

Pulled into garage after driving home from work, One issues along the way. No warning lights. My heater wasn't working(**** works verified it increased from 0-16 when I turned it), only thing I noticed odd. (though I haven't tried using the heater since I got the car in July) Pulled into garage and rev'ed the motor to 7500 then let it go to 1.5K before I turned it off. When I got out of the car I noticed a Lot of steam coming from the front, I grabbed a flashlight and popped the hood to see this,

rolled the car back and discovered a puddle of coolant,

the paper was me trying to see the color, Greenish tint to the liquid. have not tried starting it back up or doing anything figured on day off I can take a look and see if there is a cracked hose or something to cause the coolant to leak out and if I cannot locate tow to dealership.

Before I dig into this on Sunday was curious if anyone had suggestions or thoughts.

It is a 2005 RX8 6spd with 89K miles. Recently had Oil metering pump replaced by dealership(wife demanded warranty on it when we bought the car since she heard about engine failures so warranty covered OMP for us). the Pump was replaced aprox 3-4weeks ago and I've since driven it over 100 miles in that time without incident. It is going to the dealership soon anyways for the 90K service soon anyways and I do not drive it often in the winter just Tuesday was a really nice day but had dropped to about 35 degrees when I got home or so.

Note I did search and found the https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-trouble-shooting-95/coolant-boiling-out-rad-cap-225145/ the cap didnt' seem loose the next day and the amount of coolant on the ground I didn't think it would come from it boiling over. I guess it is possible but for the quantity I'm thinking cracked/loose hose but will put replacing the cap on the list of things to try before dealership.

If its not over flow, have the cooling system pressure tested.

If you pause the Video @ 0:12 The radiator cap seems to not be sitting right, could just be the angle of the shot though...

You have to figure out where it is actually coming from. This will tell you a lot right away. Everytime I tried to focus on what was happening the vid cam was jumping around. Just showing us some steam is not enough to help unless all you want is some assurance that you have a cooling system issue.

Take off the coolant bottle cap and check the tabs that hold it in place to see if they are cracked. If they are, your coolant cap isnt being tightened all the way and your coolant system is not pressurizing. I have seen this happen on four different local 8's, seems the plastic bottle gets brittle with age. If its fine, then, like Team said, get a video with the camera a bit less shaky...

Edit: after re watching the vid, I am pretty sure this is the cause; the cap seems to be sitting higher in the back, check that side of the bottle lip for the split/crack.

Figured I would throw in an update. Coolant reservoir was cracked. Also arm to the Airflow mix actuator is broken. Can manually move it to allow 100% hot or 100% cold air in but if stuck in middle it will wiggle down to one or the other. Got HAVC parts from Dwalker now get to open up and replace that.

Thanks for suggestions previously.
