I don't really need to change my air filter or anything, but I would like to just get a look at it. But every time I go to open up the box I always get stumped after I open the two top latches. Is there other latches I need to get too?

 

There is a DIY in the DIY section. There are a couple of tricks to it.

 

The box is held in by 4 rubber grommets, if you take the front of the box and push towards the back of the car it should pop out. Then you will notice on the front that is a an opening you have to push the box towards the back enough to get it to come up towards you, don't worry the tubing will allow you to push enough to get it to come out for you. Once you get to it once, it is easy from then on.

 

I found removing the rubber intake hose form the box, Then pull it up by the back of the box, then push forward, now the whole box is loose, undo the two cilps on the top and it then opens up like a book, and theres your airfilter. Make sure the new filter is right way around and well seated all the way round close box, fasten cilps, locate top pegs, push down at rear to locate bottom pegs and replace hose.
