Help Engine exploded on highway Oil patch and gas smell Pictures included Nightmare !
Clutch disc wear and throwout bearing smoothness don't really have anything in common except where they are located in the transmission and that over time/distance they wear out. The bearing just seems to wear out a bit before the clutch disc, which is handy in a way, because if they were radically different then people would either be doing double labor and only replacing one at a time, or removing good parts when they replace the bad ones. It's why nearly every clutch kit out there includes a new throwout bearing.
I did actually! But I think that it was gas for real. The reaction it made with the asphalt made it look like oil I think. It dilutes the asphalt.
Anyways my dealer is super cool, I got my warranty on the work. For now, the car is amazing, good power, super smooth idle. I just hope the faulty fuel line didnt damage the engine. For now I dont want anymore headaches and Im worry free. Just enjoying the good ol'8
