Was reading related threads on this issue. Mine seems a little different. I currently had my engine rebuilt. Got it put in and cranks fine. When I crank the car it will rev fine. About 10 seconds later it won't go past about 3,500 rpm. When I drive the car it does the same thing too. BUT, I have the DSC Off light. Along with the "skid light". I can cut the car for about 2 minutes and it will rev for about 10 seconds then throttle won't reach above 3500 rpm. Suggestions?

 

start searching about the car going into limp mode. It can be caused by a number of things. start with the basics, maf sensor, ecu over heating, fuel pump, blocked cat

Turned out to be the Oil Metering Pump Position sensor.

 

We knew ...did you reset it successfully or buy a new pump?

 

Bought a used pump with sensor.
