Help Car will not Rev over 3500 RPM sometimes
Hi,
Was reading related threads on this issue. Mine seems a little different. I currently had my engine rebuilt. Got it put in and cranks fine. When I crank the car it will rev fine. About 10 seconds later it won't go past about 3,500 rpm. When I drive the car it does the same thing too. BUT, I have the DSC Off light. Along with the "skid light". I can cut the car for about 2 minutes and it will rev for about 10 seconds then throttle won't reach above 3500 rpm. Suggestions? |
start searching about the car going into limp mode. It can be caused by a number of things. start with the basics, maf sensor, ecu over heating, fuel pump, blocked cat

Metering oil pump :).....
And the no code thing is normal as well.... |
But I have oil in the lines.

Turned out to be the Oil Metering Pump Position sensor.
|
We knew ;)...did you reset it successfully or buy a new pump?

Bought a used pump with sensor.
