Heater Hose and Exhaust
After dropping my motor back in and hooking up the exhaust to the turbo and the coolant lines and all that fun stuff, i am noticing that where the exhaust manifold runs up into the engine bay that its touching a couple of coolant lines. (Esmeril Racing turbo kit). Now, the header and downpipe are wraped in DEI exhaust wrap and sprayed with the coating they suggest to seal it with. Am i coing to have a problem with these hoses melting on the exhaust? anyone havce any suggestions. The ehaust is obviously non moveable so i am nost sure what my other optioins are. Any input?

i knew from the first time the kit was installed that it touched one of hte smaller hoses up my the T-stat. So i wrapped the hose wiht exhaust wrap also before i installed everything. The larger hose that runs lower in the engine bay i did not know untill the other day that it touched. It has no wrap on it, jsut the DP.
So your thinkin that if the hose and the exhaust is both wrapped it should be ok?
