60000 mile srevice

Hey all i know this is going to sound like a stupid question , should i stick with my dealer to do this service whom i must say Ive had issues with and pay the dealer prices or try to find another mechanic ? I'm just not sure about finding another mechanic familiar with the rx 8.

The RX-8 is not much different from any other cars, you can take it to a trusted mechanic or simply do it yourself (highly recommended)

If you've had issues with that dealer, why keep going there?

As yiksing said, the 8 is just not that different from other cars. The only things that I can think of that are weird for routine 60K service are getting the air filter out, and the two types of spark plugs. But if you find a good mechanic they'll be smart enough to figure that out.

Where do you live? Maybe someone in your neighborhood can recommend a good dealer or independent garage. FWIW, in my experience a good independent garage is not going to be cheaper than a competent dealer.
