...because as I was freezing in the cold yesterday trying to wipe the sludge off the dipstick I must've aimed wrong at the cylinder...next thing I know it flies off my hand and sticks itself firmly in the bowels of the engine. Well, one deep plunge and ruined silk shirt later I retrieve it...again I ask why Mazda felt the need to bury the dipstick so deep in the engine bay.

Oh by the way, a letter I wrote to Motor Trend (Feb 2005) got printed in the mail section...check it out! I ask why they printed the wrong photo for a Jeep...
