GS options

Hello I am looking at buying a GS but would like to drive it in the winter, i am told if i want to do winter driving it should have DSP limited slip control. I know that the GS doesnt have it standard but could it be an added option?

Thanks

From what I can tell the GS model is a sport model? If so then no you would have to get the GT model for DSC.

You don't need DSC to drive in the winter ...

You know what DSC is for right ?

Yes, GS is a Canadian trim level.

DSC was not available from the factory on the GS, and as far as I can tell can't be added afterwards.

If you really want DSC, get a GT. They are much more common anyway.

Having said all that, I made it through 3 Canadian winters with a GS. The car will oversteer, but it is actually a really easy car on which to control oversteer. I have to say though that I did not like the car much as a winter car, and have since gotten a dedicated winter car which is just a standard front wheel drive and I like it much better in the winter.

Yah i currently have a GT with every option, but have to sell it. I love the cars and want to purchase another, the one in my price point thats not an Automatic is a GS. I am worried it would be hard to drive in the winter as when I drove my GT it was amazingly good driving in the snow, but if i held down the DSC button and turned it off completely it was like night and day in the snow and extremely easy to peform donuts etc, So i am worried the GS will be like that all the time in the snow.
