Getting my 8 back from 2 weeks in shop
So im getting my 8 back after about 2 weeks at a body shop in a day or two.
Prior to dropping it off in the shop I just got the new starter/plugs/battery
tsb installed.
They say this for the most part, will prevent flooding.
NOw, even though I said to the shop and alerted them about cold temp shut off, i doubt they warmed the car up before moving it around, etc.
This being said, when I get my car back, anything I should do to "cure" it of the probalby 3 or 4 cold temp shut offs they did? should I change the oil or just run it and go for a nice spiritied drive?. Just wondering if there's anything helpful i can do to counteract the few cold weather shut offs Im sure the shop did.
thanks

If it starts then you are not flooded and I expect following the usual 'no cold shut-offs' rule is all you need to do.
My worry would be damage to the catalytic convertor that results in a latent, rather than immediate, failure. However, I don't know how easy it is to cause damage to the cat - hopefully it's really not easy at all.
