With the adapter, sorry - it wouldnt fit on without it- pan gets in the way. It hangs out a bit more than I would like, but its not too bad - It would take me running over a major piece of debris to even get close to opening that thing. What I was disapointed with was the little handle upside down- so when I use it oil will drip on my fingers a bit. Thats just the way it threaded on there - I 'll get some picks up - I dont get home from work till after dark so I might be a few day when I get a chance to do it w/ the sun up.
