Fuel Pump
Hoping someone can let me borrow the Fuel Pump Removal Tool. I broke off half the tabs and it still isn't budging!
I am located in Southern NJ but work in Northern (Near Giants Stadium) Jersy.
Will pay postage and Beer LOL.
Member of the 175,000 mile club and still going!

if you broke half the tabs off you may need to buy a new ring and gently cut the old ring off. its doubtful the fuel removal tool will work if all the tabs have been cut off
a new ring is 50 bucks.

You can actually buy a copy of the removal tool from NAPA for 18.99. Call them and describe what you're looking for and they should be able to order it within a day or so. I had to do the fuel pump and ended up paying a dealer to use the tool which was so dumb because I found out right after that NAPA can help!

I don't - I took a picture in of the tool and the guy said he'd do some digging. He called me in an hour and said he had found the tool (I was reasonably confident he would because another forum member on here said he'd picked one up from NAPA) and could have it the same day. I ended up not buying it because I was too frustrated having just paid the dealer way more to do something I could have done and not wanting to spend more money.
Sorry - but I'll bet if you called NAPA they could figure it out with you.

I just went to my local dealer and asked one of the techs if I could borrow his removal tool, gave it to me no questions asked...told me to bring it back like I got it and that was it.
