I need to replace the clutch in my 04 with an MT. I know that the exedy stage 1 clutch fits quite a few different applications including the 2.2L Probe GT.

My question is about the OEM replacement. I don't need even a stage 1 clutch because it is my daily driver. Will the OEM Probe GT 2.2 clutch fit the RX8? The clutch has the same splines, but the outer diameter is 3mm bigger, (240mm Probe vs. 237mm RX8). The only reason I ask is that there is over $100 difference in price. If I can save some money I would love to.

I searched but never found a definitive answer on the OE replacements.
