Mizu is knock-off crap. They are a Mishimoto knock-off. Look at their selction of radiators/hoses/fan shrouds... exactly the same as Mishimoto. LOL On a side note.... I see that Mishi just got done designing Diesel truck radiators/intercoolers, too, I will have to look into something like this for my work truck.

You really don't. The lighter weight is offset by the extra water needed to fill it up. You gain cooling efficiency.

I agree with others, either keep the stock, or go with a prestigious company, not some knock-off copy cat junk.

I seriously don't think this fan Shroud kit will lower anything.

in fact, I think its the other way around ---- might increase the working temp.

This fan shroud kit comes with the shroud itself and 2-12" Slim fans ---- and each flows ONLY 933.5 cfm ~~~~~~~~

So I dont know man. if Im you nuke0907 I think I will take it back out and demand a refund.

Yea. One thing I forgot to mention is that the higher CFM's a fan is the more stress they put on the alternator actually making your engine work harder.

I would just stick with stock stuff. If your going to upgrade make sure its not pulling on another resource.

The mazmart water pump is actually designed to flow faster and free up the stress on the engine. Which is why its a highly revered product.

Simple fact is if most people aren't running ti it most likely doesn't do ****.

You're missing the fact that the airflow is not limited by the fans, it's limited by the blocking effect of the airbox and battery behind them.

Make sure your undertray is intact, without it, air will exit around the radiator rather than through it. For the same price as the new useless shrouds, you can buy a kit from RX8Performance that will turn on the fans at lower temperatures (or you can do it with a Cobb Accessport at much higher cost).

I have a setup but the connectors were cut off so you will need the connectors from your existing fans spliced on. It would be basic wiring, nothing too difficult. I'll do $50.00 shipped.

Here is a picture of it next to my new setup.

The Mizu shroud is nice, the fans suck, one of mine burnt up in less than a year. I went with a FAL dual fan shroud and it is working awesome, I should have bought one years ago.

Oh, and I know a couple of guys running without undertrays here in Texas and they don't have cooling issues, even when pushing hard in this insane weather. I'm not saying an under tray is not needed but it's not as important for cooling as people make it out to be.

back from the dead!

9k - do you happen to know if your FAL has the adjustable fan speed or is just the single speed?

Also - did you mount it using a kit that mounts through the fins? how did you mount it?

I have mine hooked up to the factory wiring controlled by the ECU. You can easily use the VSC though. And yes I used a SPAL fan mount kit.
